The Diabetology Department is led by Dr. V. Mohan, MD, FRCP (London, Edinburgh, Glasgow & Ireland), Ph.D, DSc, D.Sc (Hon. Causa), FNASc — a renowned expert with over three decades of experience in diabetes research and care. The team focuses on accurate assessment of diabetes prevalence, its complications, and related risk factors such as atherosclerosis and insulin resistance. Our goal is to develop innovative strategies for the early diagnosis, effective treatment, and long-term prevention of diabetes.
