  • Underwent a One day Intensive Interactive Training Programme on Clinical Research Methods conducted by the Madras Diabetes Research Foundation – University of Alabama (MDRF-UAB) held on March 17, 2004 at Chennai, India.
  • Participated in the Eighth Cambridge Seminar on the Epidemiology and Public Health Aspects of Diabetes Mellitus, sponsored by the World Health Organization, The Center for Disease Control, the International Diabetes Foundation, Unilever at Clare College, Cambridge, UK between 6-11, April, 2003.
  • Underwent training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), USA Short term course in Clinical Research Training: Clinical Research Training in Cardio vascular disease in India sponsored by National Institute of Health (NIH), USA, between July 29 – August 23, 2002.
  • Participated in the Workshop on “Cell transplantation” jointly organized by Madras Diabetes Research Foundation (MDRF) and the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, on 3rd March 2002 at MDRF, Chennai.
  • Participated in a workshop on “Outcome Assessment for Economic Evaluation” conducted by Clinical Epidemiology Research and Training Centre, IndiaCLEN, held at Trivandrum from 28-29, January 2002.
