Dr. R. M. Anjana, Director DMDSC and MDRF, was selected to participate in the prestigious 42nd Ten Day International Teaching Seminar on Cardiovascular Disease Epidemiology and Prevention held at Hyderabad, India between the 27th of September and 9th of October 2009. This is a highly competitive seminar which is conducted by the International Society of Cardiovascular Disease Council on Epidemiology and Prevention with the aim of improving the knowledge and skills of physicians and scientists around the world. Till date the seminars have been held in 35 different countries and have resulted in over 1300 physicians and scientists from over 100 nations having received training in epidemiology and biostatistics.  The Faculty and Staff of Dr Mohan’s Diabetes Specialities Centre [DMDSC] and the Madras Diabetes Research Foundation [MDRF] extend their warmest congratulations to Dr R.M. Anjana on having been selected for this highly prestigious seminar!
