Applications are invited for the DBT funded project entitled ‘Artificial Intelligence for Affordable Screening and Prediction of Diabetic Retinopathy in the Framework of Big Data’ for a period of three years the following posts at Madras Diabetes Research Foundation (MDRF), Chennai

1. Principal Project Associate (PPA) @ Rs. 49000 pm + HRA as permissible - 1 position

Essential qualification:
Candidate must have M.Sc. degree/ Masters degree in Biotechnology with 8 years post qualification experience of PhD in Science or Technology with 4 years post qualification experience

Candidates with hands-on experience in managing scientific research projects, data analytics, biostatistics, machine learning preferred.

2. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) @ Rs 31000 p.m.+ HRA as permissible - 1 position

Essential qualification:
Candidate must have M.Sc./ Masters degree with 55% marks in Science subjects. Candidates holding Masters degree in Biotechnology, Data science, Data Analytics are preferred. Candidates qualified in the CSIR-NET/DBT-JRF/UGC-JRF are preferred. A good academic record, skills in bio, excellent communication skills in written and spoken English are desirable.

The posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
